Double-check your towball hitch security. Once you have locked on to tow ball, wind up the van via the wheel - if the car also lifts then you have a good lock on.

Always unwind electric cable before use. Coiled cables can overheat, melting the insulation and causing .

Most caravans and campers spend a lot of time stationary, in the same position. If a tyre is constantly in a sunny position it will degrade quicker than the others. Shield it if possible.

If your camper is not in use during the winter, be very careful on your first drive. Brakes especially, will not be as efficient until they have had a bit of use.
